Work Packages
The objective is to ensure compliance with the ‘ethics requirements’ set out in this work package.
The overall objective of the work package is to enable sustainable and lasting building of research and networking capacities among the project partners and, through that, creating conditions for better integration of MICM into the relevant European research community. The approach chosen for that is the joint research activities structured in the form of joint projects. It’s been proven that the best way of enabling long-term cooperation and partnerships between researchers is to enable them to work together. The following operational objectives will be pursued:
- To design and implement joint research activities centred around 3 Topics (see the section 1) involving key staff of the partner research organizations
- To support the project implementation with effective and efficient mobility scheme
- To build a joint research capacity by spreading research excellence in the partner organizations and beyond
The overall objective is to enable broader networking and visibility of the GAIN partnership, as well as to contribute to the joint research capacity building of the partners. It will be done through traditional and proven effective methods, such as research events, researcher training and education. The operational objectives are – To create the system of research workshops in the area related to the topics covered by the Strategic Research and Innovation Programme (WP2). To enable their sustainability by associating them with well-established research events – To strengthen the community building efforts undertaken in WP2 by providing Europe-wide visibility of the research outcomes – To enable young researchers from the consortium and beyond to build their research capacity and networking skills in the truly international environment
The overall objective is to extend research networking and capacity building activities into the domain of innovation and research administration. It has been demonstrated on many occasions that project-relevant research and technology development is the powerful sources of cutting edge technologies with outstanding societal and market potential. The project will address the innovation capacity building goals of all participating organizations by pursuing the following operational objectives: – To design and deliver the structured innovation training program building on best European practices and targeting research staff, with specific focus on new opportunities (upcoming Horizon Europe and other relevant programme) – To radically improve innovation-related competences of the managerial staff through the on-the-job training measures – To change the mindsets and practices in the field of exploitation of research results
- To raise awareness of the project in Europe and beyond and benefits it can bring to all potentially interested parties, disseminate the project tasks and activities to relevant target groups, build liaisons and find synergies with other relevant initiatives and projects.
- To enable the wide uptake of the project results by the prime target groups (incl. scientific and innovation stakeholders) thus stimulating further cooperation, exchange of information and exploitation
- To establish feedback gathering channels with all interested parties and, first of all, potential up takers in order to improve the quality of the final outcomes.
The overall objective is
- To ensure the timely achievement of project results (in particular the meeting of the contractual commitments) as well as effective financial management.
- To coordinate activities within the project and establish quality control procedures in order to enable high quality of the project results
- To ensure adequate risk management of the project as a whole.
In order to achieve these objectives, the coordinator (MICM) will make use of extensive experiences of previous projects’ coordination. Moreover, for daily management it will be supported and coached by EXO
